Milwaukee Skyline is going to do its best to give every single one of our players an experience that helps them grow as a young student athlete. We know that many of our talented players have the hope to play after their high school career on a collegiate level team with a scholarship. We would love to see each and every young athlete in our program reach that goal.
Unfortunately, the hard truth is not every player in the realm of volleyball will receive a scholarship. Milwaukee Skyline players will have the volleyball knowledge and technique to play at some level.
Lastly, there have been many of our athletes that have chosen not to pursue their volleyball careers after their high school/club seasons and we want to let them know that we care about them as well. We appreciate your dedication to our club and your love for volleyball. Skyline will also talk about colleges that are a good fit for these athletes.
THE VOLLEYBALL MYTH
There are many opportunities for young athletes to advance their volleyball careers to the next level as a collegiate student athlete. However, many players and families are torn to where they need invest time and money for the best results. An absolute gauranteed scholarship for playing on a specific team or club does not exist. Scholarships are not handed out in such a way. We know from experience and many relationships with college coaches that all recruited athletes have similar values like: self-determination, positive attitude, committment, and raw talent.
